To the right is the vanity from the previous photograph. This image reveals the rest of the spacious master bathroom. A large tub fits snugly into a niche flanked by windows, providing ventilation and fresh air. Above the tub is also recessed lighting. Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry allows for towel storage right in the bathroom. A shower stall is positioned across from the toilet, both of which are in a separate area from the rest of the bathroom.
The laundry room features its very own sink and counter with cabinets underneath. A washer and dryer sit next to one another and below is more cabinetry. Above the sink is a rod where clothes can be conveniently air-dried or hung up to prevent wrinkles. Healthy plants outline the home and bushes are speckled throughout. If you recall, the front of the house consisted of exposed brick.
Having both exteriors gives you the best of both worlds aesthetically. While the walls out here are not exposed brick, the patio is. The brick flooring is a more visually appealing alternative to drab concrete, and adds a nice color contrast against the green of the lawn and the white of the walls. The patio is extensive in length, spanning the length of the breakfast nook and the seating room inside. With a celebrity like Brett, who holds several NFL records, ample room to entertain is important for hosting big-name parties.
This is the view from the patio area we just saw. As you can see, the landscaping is simple yet elegant. The grassy area may not be the size of a football field, but it certainly is enough room to play around in or to let the dogs roam free.
One of the more impressive parts of this yard is how private it is. To get a better idea of how private this yard is, here is an image from a different angle.
Trees with barren trunks surround the house, but those with thick leaves going all the way down to the ground are placed at a distance to better conceal the yard. Bushes and hedges are also placed so that the yard is hidden without sacrificing the open space. As with all famous individuals such as Brett, not being easily spotted by passersby is of particular importance.
The house is placed in an ideal spot in the neighborhood: on a street corner. Instead, this garage is situated on the side of the house. So when Brett drives home, he would arrive on the adjacent street rather than the street that his address indicates. The three-car garage provides plenty of space to park cars and for storage.
Many homeowners will even put a gym in the garage or a part of it, which could easily be done in one of this size. Athletes like Brett Favre need all of the exercise time that they can get in order to stand out against their competition. I know I might have chosen another place for the wrong reasons. When high school players ask me about making a college choice, I tell them to make a choice according to where they fit best.
He began at Southern Miss as the sixth string quarterback. By his third game as a freshman, he was the starter. His USM career really was the stuff of legend. Bow season is underway and gun season starts the second week of November. Favre will probably kill a buck. Maybe stab a snake — it's prime time for those rattlers. He walks across the putting green adjacent to his home and lifts an index finger to his lips. No thanks. Too much travel. After 20 years of highs, lows, emotional skydives, Brett Favre's world has slowed down. Pro football's ironman has found peace, his way.

In my book, he is a Packer. He intentionally quit to the Jets by lying to them, just so he could join the Vikings to get payback to the Packers and the fans. He even went out of his way to help other teams learn the Packer playbook to beat the Packers. The guy is a scumbag. Hey clown It's the same thing. Scumbag may be to harsh - but I think to expect Packers fans to embrace him is too much if he's not prepared to apologize for his seasons in Minnesota.
I think that stories like this one are intended to soften Packer fans who went ballistic on him when he went ballistic on the Packers' organization. What will be will be. He soured all of his fans when he got all "primadonna" on all of us. We all need to realize that we are NOT he. He's still a southern hick to most of us. He doesn't speak well. He seems to be pretty poor as a salesman for himself.
But he DID give us 15 years of incredible Packer football! He needs to be re-embraced by his fans. Yes, the "softening" process has begun. The Closure has to be done. He will be inducted into the Packer Hall of Fame, and that will be that. His face and name will be everywhere for a while longer, and then, that will be that. It's the right thing to do. Once he's in the Hall, we'll all go back to our regularly scheduled lives No way he "exceeded Bart Starr's career".
Five championships in 7 years and one loss in another championship game is Starr's legacy. Don't be fooled by stats that these modern day QB's put up. Even mediocre QB's put up huge numbers today because of all the rules changes.
Back in Starr's day, QB's got killed back there with no flags thrown. And so did WR's trying to get down field. You could hammer them all you wanted until the ball was in the air. Now you can't breathe on them after 5 yards. ALL "sports" have become more "scientific" today. Things change. Things are going to change. And that is reality. Bart Starr will always be a major hero to Wisconsin. Favre fell in between Starr and Rodgers.
No matter what, you cannot compare apples and oranges. Let history write itself, whether in sports or science or politics. Time passes by. Live it or let go. This piece will win journalism awards. Why wasn't it done during the bye week or after the season? The focus should be on the Packers trying to win, not Brett Favre. Favre- Just a southern wild child gun slinging, beer drinkin, skirt chasin very competitive cannon armed pretty darn good qb.
Kind of Butkus type qb who really only got reigned in by Irv and Holmgren and then at the end Ted. Wasn't going to win any Einstein awards, the only one I ever felt sorry for was his wife and kids. Having more money than they know what to do with, a husband who's in amazing shape, and high status in the community - I don't know how they do it. So Ace - you never witnessed his skirt chasing while he was married out in public then? We can already see the temptation of falling into all those pillows after a long day of dominating the football field.
The large windows at the end of the room not only offer a heap of sunlight, but they also give some spectacular views to the outside. Of course, no master bedroom would be complete without a master bathroom by the side. The spacious floor, all those drawers to store plenty of hauls from Lush, and even a little table to keep all our soaps and sprays close at hand — it almost seems too good to be true in this fairytale bathroom.
If only we could all have a space like this to unwind at the end of the day…. It looks as though Brett would have had plenty to do throughout his time on the football field — especially judging by how much this player used to like to get involved! All of that hard work and running must have built up quite the sweat. At least Brett was able to return home and throw his jerseys into the laundry in his very own laundry room.
The basement is the place that many of us can go to unwind after a long day out of the house. Plus, it can be easy to lose hours of the day as the lack of natural sunlight means we can soon see minutes turn into hours. Although many of us might be tempted to fill the room with all sorts of electronics and gaming devices, Brett opted for a much more low-key basement that housed a few bookcases and some armchairs to sit and read. One of the biggest selling points of many homes is the backyard.
This is where families get to enjoy spending time with their little ones, people can throw massive outdoor parties, and many of us can enjoy soaking up the sunshine. Brett got to spend years enjoying a manicured yard that came complete with plenty of shrubberies to add that extra level of detail to the space.
The simple stone piece teamed with an array of plant pots was enough to add the perfect amount of color to this hidden outdoor space no matter the weather.
It seems as though Brett was used to a small yard for many years while he was playing for the Green Bay Packers. However, the football field gave this sports star the chance he needed to stretch his legs and run. Nowadays, Brett gets to enjoy spending his days of retirement in the comfort of his home found in the town of Sumrall, Mississippi.
It might be a change from the house he is previously used to, but it looks as though this football star has upgraded and put his money to good use by purchasing one of the largest mansions in the area. Although Brett is used to a life of traveling thanks to his time in the Green Bay Packers, this seems to be a home he is willing to kick back and relax. Like many celebrities, Brett has ensured that his new home is protected by large gates to keep out the unwanted attention.
His former house was once open to the street where it seemed as though almost anyone could walk past and look through the window.
