Real world why is nate so red

Yeah, he is, sad to say, heading down the wrong path. One mean tweet is enough to set him off. He's taking a few wrong terms. For want of a better word, Nate is a little bit lost. He was very much within his stride when he could be led by Ted. He's just never been in this position before. It's challenging at times, because it just feels so different to where Nate was before. You mentioned that he's used to feeling bullied.

I get the sense he's just used to overall being disrespected or overlooked. Ted showed him that first glimmer of light of admiration and respect. I feel like he got a taste of it, and then he expects it completely from everybody, and imagines anything else as a diss. He's just growing this ego, basically, and he may think that he deserves it because he's suffered so much and he's put his absolute all into AFC Richmond.

He's not out in a malicious way, but he certainly is ruthlessly ambitious. I'm not condoning that behavior. He's making the wrong choices, although it's possibly easy to see why he's making those choices.

We see this a lot in the real world. I suffered. Now it's your turn. You would think that those are the people who would understand, you know? That they would empathize the most with people who are going through what they went through. Whereas, yeah, Nate is one of those people: "Well, I went through this, so now it's payback time. Nate is so fastidious in the way he does things.

He's very particular. So, someone who's come in and taken over the job that he's done for a number of years, you know, cannot deviate from the way these towels are folded because any deviation is going to play with the players' minds. That's crazy. He's completely deluded. But I don't think that he has got a thing against Will. It's just that in his mind this guy's making mistakes, and he needs to make sure this guy sees sense—because otherwise it's going to result in AFC Richmond doing worse off.

Was his dark side foreshadowed in your earliest performances? A lot of that anger in Nate was all seeded in season one. You know, there's that letter he wrote the players, which has got some of that in it.

The pair went on to marry in and have nine children. Their ninth child was born in with a heart defect. She is doing great, though still in the NICU until she learns to eat on her own.
